William practices in the areas of Real Estate, Family Law, Wills & Estates, and Estate Litigation.

He has successfully appeared at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

As a sole practitioner, William is approachable and professional. Born and raised in the Niagara Region, he is happy to serve clients in his hometown.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminology from the University of Western Ontario in 2010, William attended the University of Newcastle Law School, New South Wales, Australia in 2012. He was called as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia in 2015.

After articling at Houghton, Sloniowski & Stengel, he was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2017.

James was called to the Ontario Bar in 1991 and practiced in Welland until his passing in October of 2019. His practice focused on the area of Family Law, including Child Protection. James very much enjoyed representing children on behalf of the Office of the Children's Lawyer in Family Law proceedings.

He appeared at all levels of court in Ontario, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada in 2017.

In addition to litigation, James also practiced Collaborative Family Law and appreciated that it allowed clients to obtain a resolution for their family themselves, as opposed to having a solution imposed upon them by the court. He also practiced Estates and Residential Real Estate.

Weekends in the summer months found James in Kincardine on the shores of Lake Huron watching the sun set on Ontario's west coast.

James was a respected lawyer, a person of integrity, and a class act. His memory lives on.
